We’re Roger + Chris. You may know us from our furniture company (also, uhm, named Roger + Chris) or previous design projects. We met a decade ago and immediately fell crazily in love – and started working on houses together.
You probably recognize Roger from his long-running, Emmy-nominated TV show Sell This House. He introduced home staging to American audiences and helped popularize the real estate renovation show genre.
Coming up on a decade ago, we founded our furniture company with the goal of building superior sofas meeting five objectives:
- Exceptional Style
- Unheard-of Customizability
- Amazing Comfort
- Remarkable Durability
- Responsible Manufacturing
We’re proud to say that we offer more custom options than any other manufacturer, and our furniture is hand-built here in the USA at our factory in Hickory, North Carolina. Our home base is in Omaha, Nebraska, where you can find our shop and interior design consultancy in the historic Dundee neighborhood,
Okay, so…a farm?
Together, we’ve been fortunate to live in some cool houses. From a modern home in Austin, TX, to a 160-year old Italianate Victorian in Upstate New York, a mountaintop lair fit for a Bond villain in Montclair, NJ, to a gothic Tudor home in Omaha, NE.
But with two rambunctious puppies tearing up our small, landscaped backyard and an itch to take on something new, we stumbled upon an acreage right here in Omaha.
The historic home was built in 1925 in the American foursquare style. The property includes a barn and land segmented into two sections – a cleared four-acre lot and a heavily-wooded six-acre lot.
